Many
of you may be aware (or not aware) that we initiated a Challenger Baseball
program in May. The Recreation Department and the Commission on Disabilities for
the Town of Sharon co-sponsored this program. We had 16 families participate and
we had lots of fun. Siblings and friends were also encouraged to participate. As
a result of this "pilot" program, Dave Clifton graciously offered to
coordinate and "coach" an instructional basketball program. If you run
into Dave Clifton, thank him for his support! Registration for the basketball
program will be held on the 1st day, September 8th. Please pass the word around
and hope to see some new faces.
