National Resources

Federal Parks Access Pass

The Access Pass is a lifetime pass for U.S. citizens or permanent residents with permanent disabilities. The pass provides access to, and use of, Federal recreation sites that charge an Entrance or Standard Amenity. The pass admits the pass holder and passengers in a non-commercial vehicle at per vehicle fee areas and pass holder + 3 adults, not to exceed 4 adults, at per person fee areas (children under 16 are admitted free). The pass can only be obtained in person at the park. Click on US Parks Pass for more information.

Bookshare™ Digital Books

Bookshare™ contains a searchable library of over 50,000 digital books. Bookshare™ is free for all U.S. students with qualifying disabilities. You can check Bookshare qualify to ascertain if you/your child qualifies.

Books can be download to play on DAISY (Digital Accessible Information System) players. DAISY players easily convert Bookshare's digital text files to speech so books and newspapers can be read aloud. Bookshare
