Disability Awareness Program

Sue Linehan and Mark Baron have recently attended a forum on implementing a new school-wide disabilities awareness program. The curriculum includes: deafness/hard of hearing, blindness/visual impairment, learning disabilities, physical disabilities, special medical conditions (asthma, diabetes, epilepsy /seizure disorder), and developmental disability/mental retardation. SSEPAC is very excited about this new curriculum and will be hosting an organizational meeting in near future. SSEPAC will be looking people interested in teaching these subjects. If you would like more information or would like to get involved, please contact Sue Linehan at 781-784-1939.
